Tired of spending countless hours weeding your garden paths, flower beds, or gravel areas? The Yuzet Heavy Duty Weed Control Fabric is the professional-grade, long-lasting solution you need. This premium woven polypropylene membrane is engineered to effectively block weeds while allowing essential water and nutrients to penetrate the soil, promoting a healthy, low-maintenance garden.
Ideal for use under: Patios, decking, gravel paths, driveways, flower beds, shrub borders, vegetable gardens, and general landscaping projects.
1. Superior Weed Suppression
Dense Woven Construction: Our 100gsm (grams per square metre) fabric is mechanically woven to create a robust, physical barrier. It blocks sunlight from reaching the soil, effectively preventing photosynthesis and stopping weeds like nettles, dandelions, and bindweed from growing.
Saves Time & Effort: Dramatically reduces the need for back-breaking weeding, harmful chemical herbicides, and constant garden maintenance.
2. Heavy-Duty & Durable 100gsm Fabric
Built to Last: Unlike flimsy, non-woven felts or plastic sheets, this 100gsm woven fabric is designed for longevity. It resists tearing and degradation, providing a reliable barrier for years to come.
Permeable & Breathable: The fabric's precise weave allows rainwater and air to pass through freely. This prevents waterlogging, soil compaction, and creates a healthier environment for your desired plants' roots.
3. UV Stabilised for Longevity
Sun Resistance: Treated with UV inhibitors, this weed membrane is protected against the sun's damaging rays. This prevents it from becoming brittle and breaking down quickly, ensuring it remains effective for many seasons, even in direct sunlight.
4. Large Coverage Area: 2m Wide x 50m Long
Ample Size: The generous 100m² roll (2 metres wide x 50 metres long) is perfect for both large landscaping projects and smaller garden jobs. The 2m width minimizes seams, making installation quicker and more efficient.
Cost-Effective: Buying in bulk saves money compared to smaller rolls, making it an excellent choice for professionals and serious DIY enthusiasts.
5. Environmentally Friendly Solution
Chemical-Free Weeding: Eliminate the need for toxic weed killers, making your garden a safer place for children, pets, and wildlife.
Promotes Soil Health: By allowing natural water drainage and air circulation, the fabric helps maintain a balanced and healthy soil ecosystem.

How to Install Your Weed Control Fabric
Prepare the Area: Clear the ground of all existing weeds, stones, and debris. Level the soil.
Lay the Fabric: Unroll the membrane over the prepared area. For large areas, overlap sheets by a minimum of 10-15cm to prevent weeds from growing through the gaps.
Secure in Place: Use sturdy Landscape Fabric Pegs (sold separately) to pin the material down every 1-2 metres, especially around the edges and overlaps. This prevents wind from lifting it.
Cut Planting Holes: For flower beds, make small X-shaped cuts in the fabric where you want to plant. Fold the flaps under and plant through the hole.
Cover with Mulch: Finally, cover the entire area with a 3-5cm layer of your chosen mulch (e.g., bark, gravel, slate). This protects the fabric from UV damage and improves aesthetics.
